Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026
Taekit, LLC ("Taekit," "we," "us," or "our") administers the Taekit program and operates the Taekit Medical website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit our website, purchase a kit or gift card, participate in an employer-sponsored program, or communicate with us. It applies to both individual purchases and employer-sponsored participation, and explains your privacy choices and how to contact us.
Taekit and your healthcare providers
Taekit provides administrative, technology, and program-coordination services. Clinical services are provided by Health Hub Physicians, Inc. ("HHP") or another participating medical practice or healthcare organization responsible for your care (your "Clinical Provider"). Depending on the program, an outside Clinical Provider may conduct your medical intake, evaluation, prescribing, and follow-up care without HHP's involvement. Pharmacy services are provided by the participating dispensing pharmacy. Your Clinical Provider and dispensing pharmacy will be identified in connection with your services.
Your Clinical Provider is responsible for clinical decisions and maintains the clinical record of your care. Taekit may receive, maintain, and transmit information needed to administer your program and coordinate services, including order details, prescription or medication information, refill or replenishment requests, and fulfillment status. The information involved depends on the services Taekit performs for your program.
Access is limited according to each person's authorized responsibilities. General order-support personnel do not receive unrestricted access to your clinical record. Where Taekit handles protected health information on behalf of a Clinical Provider or pharmacy, it does so under applicable confidentiality requirements and required business associate arrangements. Taekit's administrative coordination does not replace the independent clinical judgment of your treating professionals.
Your Clinical Provider's Notice of Privacy Practices explains its handling of protected health information and your rights concerning that information. The applicable notice is made available through your enrollment or care process and upon request from the Clinical Provider. HHP's notice applies when HHP provides your clinical services; another practice's notice applies when that practice provides your care. HHP's notice is available through the website link labeled "Clinical Privacy and Patient Notices." The dispensing pharmacy maintains its own applicable privacy notice. This Privacy Policy describes Taekit's practices and does not replace those notices or any separately required consent or authorization.
Information we collect
Contact and transaction information. We collect information you provide when purchasing or contacting us, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, selected kit or product, order reference, gift-card information, and communications preferences. We maintain payment and refund status, fulfillment and shipment information, and related administrative records. Kit selections may reveal or suggest demographic or health-related information. Your Clinical Provider collects medical intake and clinical demographic information for your care. Taekit's access to information from that process is limited to what is needed for its authorized program-administration and service-coordination responsibilities.
Payment information. Our payment processors collect payment credentials to process your transaction. Taekit does not receive or store your full payment-card number or security code through checkout. We receive transaction information, which may include billing details, payment status, transaction identifiers, and limited payment-method details such as card type and last four digits.
Communications and feedback. We collect information you provide in support communications, surveys, and private feedback, including summaries generated as described below. Please direct clinical questions to your Clinical Provider or designated care team. If you send medical information to general Taekit support, we restrict its handling to appropriate assistance, secure routing to the responsible care team, and other authorized purposes. We do not use medical information mistakenly sent to general support to target promotions.
Information from others. We receive information from your Clinical Provider, which may be HHP or another participating practice, the dispensing pharmacy, payment and shipping providers, and other authorized service providers. This may include information needed to coordinate prescriptions, replenishment, fulfillment, and related communications. For employer-sponsored programs, an employer may provide your name, contact details, and benefit eligibility information. A gift purchaser or authorized representative may provide information needed to arrange a gift or assist you.
Website information. We and providers that operate website features may collect technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, pages visited, dates and times of visits, interactions, and error or security logs. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies may support these functions, as explained below.
How we use information
We use personal information to administer and support the Taekit program, including processing purchases and payments; administering gift cards and employer benefits; sending benefit invitations and activation reminders; coordinating clinical and pharmacy services; processing prescription, refill, and replenishment requests; tracking fulfillment and shipping; providing expiration, recall, and other service-related notices; handling replacements, refunds, and support requests; and maintaining related records. We also use information to operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our website and services; prevent fraud and misuse; evaluate feedback; send permitted promotional communications; and meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. We may use information for additional purposes specifically disclosed when it is collected or subsequently communicated to you, subject to applicable law and any required consent or authorization.
Your Clinical Provider and dispensing pharmacy remain responsible for clinical assessments, prescribing, medication counseling, and other decisions within their respective professional roles. Taekit may coordinate requests and communicate information or instructions on their behalf, using the information needed for those authorized functions. Taekit does not independently approve prescriptions or determine whether a medication is appropriate for you.
When we share information
Clinical and fulfillment coordination. We exchange information with your Clinical Provider, dispensing pharmacy, and authorized care-coordination personnel as needed to administer your program. This may include contact and delivery details, order information, prescription or medication information, refill or replenishment requests, and fulfillment status. Shipping providers receive information needed to deliver orders. These exchanges may occur electronically and remain subject to applicable confidentiality requirements, required agreements, and any necessary consent or authorization.
Service providers and contractors. We may share information with providers supporting website development, hosting and maintenance, payment processing, program and order administration, customer support, authorized care coordination, security, communications, and AI-assisted administrative services. We limit access to information needed for their authorized work and require appropriate confidentiality, security, and restrictions on use, including business associate agreements where required. These providers may not use information supplied on our behalf for their own independent marketing. Payment processors may also handle information for their own legally permitted payment, fraud-prevention, and compliance functions under their privacy notices.
Your instructions and legal purposes. We may disclose information at your specific direction or to a person legally authorized to act for you, such as a guardian, an individual acting under an effective healthcare power of attorney, or an agent authorized for a particular privacy request. We verify identity and authority as appropriate and limit disclosure to the scope of that authority and applicable law. An employer's sponsorship, or another person's payment for a kit, does not by itself confer authority to receive your information. Employer reporting remains subject to the limits below. We may also disclose information as required or permitted by applicable law to respond to valid legal process, protect rights and safety, address fraud or security incidents, or establish or defend legal claims. Disclosures in connection with a proposed or completed business transaction remain subject to applicable confidentiality and health-information restrictions.
Employer-sponsored programs and gifts
We administer employer-sponsored programs subject to applicable federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA where applicable. Employer sponsorship does not waive a participant's privacy rights or authorize access to individual health information.
If your employer funds your kit, we use employee roster, contact, and eligibility information to administer the benefit, invite eligible employees to participate, and send reminders about activating or using their available benefit. We do not provide employers with named participation or fulfillment reports, individual order numbers, medical records, diagnoses, individual medication use, clinical conversations, or treatment details. Employer reports and invoices contain aggregate quantities and charges and may use an employer-level invoice or batch reference. Employer payment does not give the employer access to an employee's clinical record.
Depending on the program, employers may receive aggregate, de-identified reports to evaluate participation and benefit utilization. Reports may include counts of kits dispensed, clinical contacts, reported medication use, follow-up care, and refill or restocking activity, including medication categories or names where appropriate. The relevant Clinical Provider de-identifies clinical information before supplying it to Taekit for employer reporting. We limit, combine, or omit details where small groups or other circumstances could allow an individual to be identified. Individual order references remain within the authorized order-processing workflow and are not treated as de-identified employer reporting data.
We maintain reporting data in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify individuals from those data. We require recipients of de-identified reports to agree not to re-identify individuals, including by combining reports with other information. These reporting commitments do not prevent Clinical Providers, pharmacies, or their authorized service providers from maintaining identifiable information for care, program administration, and other authorized purposes.
An individual gift-card purchaser may receive information about their own gift-card purchase and delivery. Once the recipient places an order, we do not provide the recipient's order or clinical status to that purchaser without the recipient's permission or another applicable legal basis. Gift-card purchasers may reside outside Texas; purchasing a gift card does not change the recipient's eligibility requirements.
Cookies and website analytics
Our website uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies for functions such as remembering a shopping cart, supporting checkout, maintaining security, and preventing fraud. We also use website analytics to understand visits, website performance, and use of our pages. Hosting, payment, and website-content providers may receive technical information when their services load or operate.
You can use browser settings to block or remove cookies and local storage. Doing so may affect checkout or other website functions. Our website does not respond to traditional browser Do Not Track signals. This statement does not limit rights or obligations concerning legally recognized opt-out preference signals. Providers supporting payment processing, fraud prevention, and embedded website features may collect technical information across websites over time under their own privacy notices.
Advertising and promotional emails
We may advertise Taekit through search engines, social media, and other advertising channels. We do not sell or rent personal information, disclose it to another business for that business's independent marketing, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising trackers to follow visitors across websites for personalized advertising or upload customer lists, patient lists, or identifiable purchase or clinical events to advertising platforms. Advertising platforms may collect information about your interactions within their own services under their own privacy policies. Before introducing materially different advertising-related data practices, we will update the relevant disclosures and provide any choices or obtain any consent or authorization required by law.
For employer-sponsored programs, we may use employer-provided contact information to explain an available benefit, invite eligible employees to activate it, and send activation or benefit-administration reminders. An employee who has not made a purchase or participated in the Taekit program is not automatically enrolled in general promotional emails merely by receiving these messages.
If you purchase a kit or gift card, or participate as a patient, including through an employer-funded program, we may send promotional emails about Taekit's own kits, services, and related offerings where permitted by law. We do not send paid promotions for third parties. Information received from a Clinical Provider or pharmacy for care or service coordination is not used for unrelated promotional targeting without any separately required consent or authorization. This policy and participation in the program do not replace that permission.
We keep medication-specific care and fulfillment messages separate from unrelated promotional emails. Information entrusted to Taekit for a Clinical Provider's or pharmacy's services is used for those authorized purposes and is not repurposed for unrelated marketing without any separately required permission.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message or by contacting support@taekitmedical.com. We honor opt-out requests within applicable deadlines. Opting out of promotions does not stop necessary order, payment, safety, or service communications. Taekit does not send promotional text messages. Your designated care team or authorized coordination personnel may send non-promotional messages about your care or existing services, subject to applicable consent requirements and your communication preferences.
Order updates and clinical communications
Taekit sends order-status updates by email and provides administrative customer support by email only. Contact support@taekitmedical.com for order inquiries, administrative corrections, or cancellation requests. We verify identity or authority as appropriate and coordinate necessary updates with the parties processing the order. A requested change may depend on the order's fulfillment stage.
Taekit may communicate with you on behalf of your Clinical Provider or dispensing pharmacy about your existing kit and related services, including prescription-request status, medication expiration or recall notices, replenishment, and shipment updates. We use the information needed for those authorized communications and identify the responsible care team where appropriate. Clinical instructions and prescribing decisions remain the responsibility of the relevant licensed professional; a reminder or status message does not itself authorize medication use or guarantee a prescription.
For clinical questions, authorization requests, and nursing coordination, contact care@taekitmedical.com or use the designated clinical communication service. The clinical nurse triage number is supplied with your kit. This centralized care team can assist with coordination and route requests to the Clinical Provider responsible for your care, including an outside participating practice. The responsible Clinical Provider maintains its clinical record and makes clinical decisions.
Clinical discussions use secure messaging by default. Ordinary text messaging may be available after an explanation of privacy risks and a documented patient choice, subject to the applicable provider's practices. Identity or authority may be verified before information is disclosed. Ordinary email and text messages may be accessible to others who use your device or account. Do not use these channels for emergencies.
AI assistance and clinical recording
Taekit may use artificial intelligence tools to help organize, transcribe where applicable, or summarize customer-support communications for quality assurance, administrative operations, and order fulfillment. Access by these providers is limited to their authorized services and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security requirements. We do not permit providers to use identifiable customer communications to train general-purpose AI models. Where recording or AI transcription is used, we provide advance notice and obtain any required consent. You may decline recording or transcription and still receive assistance. Taekit's administrative AI tools do not provide clinical advice or replace the independent clinical judgment of your Clinical Provider.
Your Clinical Provider or authorized clinical support personnel may use recording and AI-assisted transcription or summarization to assist with clinical documentation, including nursing and provider encounters. The responsible care team explains the applicable use before recording or AI transcription begins and obtains any required consent. You may decline or ask that recording or transcription stop without losing otherwise available care. Responsible healthcare professionals review AI-generated clinical documentation before relying on it for care and remain responsible for clinical decisions.
Clinical recordings, transcripts, and notes are maintained by the responsible Clinical Provider and its authorized service providers. Access is limited to authorized clinical and support functions. General Taekit order-support personnel do not receive unrestricted access to those materials. This policy does not authorize their use for advertising or unrelated AI model training.
Feedback and testimonials
Participation in surveys and private feedback is voluntary. We use feedback to understand experiences and improve services. Before publishing an identifiable review, testimonial, or patient story in our website or marketing, we obtain separate permission and any legally required authorization. Providing private feedback does not itself authorize publication.
Security and records
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and restrict access according to responsibilities. No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. We will provide notices concerning security incidents when required by law.
Our handling of order, payment, support, and other business records is subject to applicable legal requirements and the privacy rights described below. Requests to delete information are subject to lawful exceptions, including records needed for legal obligations, transactions, fraud prevention, or disputes. Clinical Providers and pharmacies maintain records under their respective obligations. Where Taekit maintains information on their behalf, we coordinate applicable requests with the responsible organization. A request to Taekit does not automatically delete records maintained by a Clinical Provider or pharmacy.
Your privacy choices and requests
Depending on your state of residence, the information involved, and applicable law, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information; access or obtain a copy of it; correct inaccuracies; request deletion; withdraw consent to processing based on consent; or opt out of certain processing, including sale, targeted advertising, or profiling used for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Where applicable, you may also request information about recipients of your data or limit specified uses of sensitive information. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions and do not imply that Taekit engages in each activity.
Submit requests to support@taekitmedical.com. You may also use that address to request review or correction of information you have provided. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority. You do not need to create an account. We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any denial and available appeal rights. To appeal, reply to our decision or email the same address with your request for reconsideration. Where required, we provide instructions for contacting the appropriate regulator. We do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
For medical-record access, corrections, confidential communications, or other clinical privacy rights, consult the Notice of Privacy Practices of the Clinical Provider responsible for your care. You may contact the centralized care team at care@taekitmedical.com for help obtaining the applicable notice or routing a request to that provider. HHP handles requests concerning its own services; an outside practice remains responsible for requests concerning its records and practices. Contact the dispensing pharmacy for requests concerning its records. Taekit can help identify the appropriate organization and coordinate requests concerning information Taekit maintains on its behalf.
Adults and other websites
The Taekit kit program is currently offered to eligible adults aged 18 or older in Texas. Your Clinical Provider verifies age and other clinical eligibility requirements through its intake and evaluation process. Our website and services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact support@taekitmedical.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required by law.
Our website may link to other organizations' websites or services. Their privacy notices describe their own practices. A link does not make those organizations' practices identical to Taekit's.
Changes and contact information
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, practices, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy with its effective date and provide additional notice of material changes when required. Where a new use or disclosure requires consent or authorization, we obtain that permission before proceeding. Posting an updated policy does not by itself authorize a new use of previously collected information that requires separate permission, waive your privacy rights, or change the benefits or contractual terms governing an existing purchase.
